In July, 2013 Siko maintenance engineers have taken training courses at SANWA plant in Japan and successfully passed the qualifying examination.
SANWA is the leading manufacturer of automatic die cutting machinery. SANWA is trustworthy: more than 85% of Japanese manufacturers use SANWA automatic die cutting machines due to its unique technological advantages, protected by patents (see article in pdf, russian). These technologies let the manufacturers to reach stable output at any sheet thickness, to reduce setup time and to increase lifetime of the machine.
Siko maintenance engineers took trainings at two directions: mechanics and electronics in theory and practice. The training was hold under the leadership of SANWA CEO Mr. Kiso.
Special focus was on die-cutting technology and operation aspects with use of different matherials including patented technologies such as:
- Automatic Punching Pressure System (APC 1)
- Punching Pressure Balance (APC 2)
At one of the training stages SIKO engineers took part in assembly and testing of a press. This press will soon be dispatched to a Russian customer.
In the words of Alexander Karin, SIKO Service Department Director, “this training aimed at a deeper study of SANWA automatic press basis including assembling- disassembling, trouble shooting, repair of mechanical, electrical and software components. One of the key objects of the engineers is issues identification and management on the site, so we pay close attention to all brands”.
